Volunteering can be quite a special experience if you are interested in supporting the organization with your valuable time.
Individuals are needed to help secure and stage in-kind donations of furniture and other items for our housing (particularly new homes), landscaping any number of our properties as well as administrative and event support.
🌳 Landscaping
Make our houses feel like homes. Our Landscaping teams help maintain beautiful, dignified, and welcoming exteriors at our properties. Volunteers get hands-on, weeding, planting seasonal flowers, and spreading mulch. This work is vital—it not only creates a sense of pride and community for our residents but also saves crucial agency resources. It's an ideal activity for corporate groups, faith-based organizations, or anyone who enjoys working outdoors to make an immediate, visible impact.

🎉 Welcome Home Celebration
The Welcome Home Celebration is our cornerstone event, bringing together residents, staff, and supporters to celebrate the incredible milestone of finding a stable home. Volunteers are the backbone of this event's success. We need energetic individuals to help with setup, registration, greeting guests, managing auction stations, and ensuring the celebration runs smoothly. By volunteering, you help us create a joyous and memorable evening that honors our residents' journeys and raises awareness for our critical housing mission.

🧺 Welcome Home Baskets
Many individuals move into their new apartments with very few personal belongings. Our Welcome Home Basket program ensures that every new resident is greeted with the essential items needed to start fresh. Volunteers, families, or corporate groups "adopt" a new resident by collecting and assembling these baskets, which are filled with new household goods like bedding, towels, kitchenware, and cleaning supplies. This simple, powerful gesture of kindness provides the tangible tools for a new beginning and sends a clear message to our residents: "Welcome home. We are glad you are here."
