Position Description
Program Associate – Administrative/Inspections
Housing Unlimited, Inc.
16 hours/week

Duties and Responsibilities

The Program Associate of Housing Unlimited, Inc. has responsibility for the following primary goals:

  • Office administrative and fundraising tasks; and
  • Inspection of properties for the HUI affordable rental inventory

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Carry out office administrative tasks including, but not limited to, filing, mailings, data entry, and communications to Housing Unlimited tenants and other stakeholders, etc.
  • Conduct inspections of Housing Unlimited homes to ensure homes meet “cleanliness” standards;
  • Help soliciting contributions for Housing Unlimited silent auction;
  • Assist in the implementation of annual appeals and special events; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

Specific requirements include:

  • Program Associate must be detail oriented and organized;
  • Program Associate must have competency in basic computer skills;
  • Program Associate must have a valid driver's license and have a history of safe driving in order to drive the Housing Unlimited car from time to time;
  • Program Associate must be able to engage Housing Unlimited tenants in an empathic, respectful, and friendly manner
  • Program Associate must be a person of honesty and integrity

Supervision and Direction

The Program Associate reports directly to and receives monthly performance evaluations from a Property Manager.

Performance Standards

  • 100% of hard copy documents are placed in the correct tenant folder in the correct location
  • 100% of scanned documents are filed in appropriate electronic folders
  • 100% of telephone and in person interactions with Housing Unlimited tenants are respectful and courteous
  • Program Associate shows up for work on time 100% of the time
